Today… just a few John King caps from his White House era of reporting.

But first, Mebz, this is for you. Some cute baby otters that will soon learn how to “shake it” when they grow up!

And now, on with the JohnJoy: “The White House Years”:

Look into their beady eyes, you can just see them thinking “I’m going to shake it like a polaroid picture when I grow up.” Otters, *shakes head* they can be such hussies.

I’m lovin’ the JohnJoy. Thanks. I needed this today.

Anyone see John’s report about the Doomsday plane. It freaked me out because he mentioned it in his 9/11 post here. Of course I had just watch an episode of the X-files, too. So I was already a little paranoid.

  2. Millie those otters are so cute 🙂

The JohnJoy today…WOW!!! Very very very picutres 😀 😀 😀

John’s Doomsday plane report last nite on 360 was interesting, especially since I had just read about it on here.

Yeah, mebz has this *thing* for dancing otters, thus the picture.

I dug up the old John pictures just to remember how he was back in the day….

I really don’t know what all the fuss is about the plane, to be honest. Ok, so the government had a plane flying around. Why was that so mysterioso? After all, the events of the day were so unprecedented, it would seem logical that there would be some sort of additional steps taken by the government that day.

I didn’t see John’s piece on that on 360 (I work late nights) but I’ll try to dig up the transcript or the video archives.

  4. John is on The Situation Room right now and he is looking very very very handsome 😀 😀 😀

Just saw John’s 9/11 piece at I still don’t get what the fuss is about. It was a desperate day. And desperate situations call for desperate measures. A plane of that caliber flying over Washington should instead give reassurance that the gov’t was taking charge with whatever unprecedented means it had to, in order to get a grip on the situation! Of course they wouldn’t make public what was going on with that plane – that would give away secret intelligence to the enemy!

On such a horrific day as 9/11, I think the gov’t had every right to fly an E4B WHEREVER necessary, even if it meant flying over White House airspace. Is it that unrealistic to think the gov’t would be forced to overide normal protocol smack in the middle of a terrorist attack? Not in my opinion.

    Just my two cents worth.
